বাংলাদেশ জামায়াতে ইসলামীর কেন্দ্রীয় নেতৃবৃন্দকে অন্যায়ভাবে গ্রেফতারের প্রতিবাদে রাজধানী ঢাকায় বিক্ষোভ মিছিল ও সমাবেশ করে বাংলাদেশ জামায়াতে ইসলামী ঢাকা মহানগরী দক্ষিণ। কেন্দ্রীয় কর্মপরিষদ সদস্য ও ঢাকা মহানগরী দক্ষিণের নায়েবে আমীর মঞ্জুরুল ইসলাম ভূঁইয়ার সভাপতিত্বে এবং কেন্দ্রীয় কর্মপরিষদ সদস্য ও ঢাকা মহানগরী দক্ষিণের সেক্রেটারি ড. শফিকুল ইসলাম মাসুদের পরিচালনায় বিক্ষোভ মিছিলটি আজ ৭ সেপ্টেম্বর মঙ্গলবার সকাল ৮:৩০টায় রাজধানীর যাত্রাবাড়ী এলাকা হতে শুরু হয়ে রাজধানীর গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সড়ক প্রদক্ষিণ শেষে এক সমাবেশের মাধ্যমে শেষ হয়।
বিক্ষোভ মিছিলে আরও উপস্থিত ছিলেন কেন্দ্রীয় মজলিশে শুরা সদস্য ও ঢাকা মহানগরী দক্ষিণের সহকারী সেক্রেটারি এডভোকেট ড. মোঃ হেলাল উদ্দিন, কেন্দ্রীয় মজলিশে শুরা সদস্য ও ঢাকা মহানগরী দক্ষিণের সহকারী সেক্রেটারি মুহা. দেলাওয়ার হোসেন ও আবদুল জব্বার, কেন্দ্রীয় মজলিশে শুরা সদস্য ও ঢাকা মহানগরী দক্ষিণের কর্মপরিষদ সদস্য আব্দুস সবুর ফকির, অধ্যাপক মোকাররম হোসাইন, শামছুর রহমান, ঢাকা মহানগরী দক্ষিণের কর্মপরিষদ সদস্য কামাল হোসাইন, আব্দুস সালাম, বাংলাদেশ ইসলামী ছাত্রশিবিরের ঢাকা মহানগরী পুর্বের সভাপতি আবুল খায়ের, জগন্নাথ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সভাপতি সাজ্জাদ হোসাইন, ঢাকা কলেজ সভাপতি শফিউল আলম সহ জামায়াতের ঢাকা মহানগরী দক্ষিণের বিভিন্ন থানা শাখার আমীর ও সেক্রেটারিবৃন্দ।
মিছিল পরবর্তী সমাবেশে বলা হয়, সোমবার রাত ৮টার দিকে রাজধানীর বসুন্ধরার একটি বাসা থেকে জামায়াত নেতৃবৃন্দকে সম্পূর্ণ অন্যায়ভাবে গ্রেফতার করা হয়। জামায়াতে ইসলামী দেশে একটি নিয়মতান্ত্রিক ও গণতান্ত্রিক রাজনৈতিক দল। দেশে বিদ্যমান ভয়াবহ করোনা পরিস্থিতিতে জামায়াত জনগণের পাশে থেকে সার্বিক সেবা সহযোগিতা করার চেষ্টা করে যাচ্ছে। এমতাবস্থায় ৬ সেপ্টেম্বর বিকেলে সরকার কোন নির্দিষ্ট অভিযোগ ছাড়াই সম্পূর্ণ অন্যায়ভাবে জামায়াতের সেক্রেটারি জেনারেল অধ্যাপক মিয়া গোলাম পরওয়ার, সহকারী সেক্রেটারী জেনারেল রফিকুল ইসলাম খান, হামিদুর রহমান আযাদ সহ ১০ জনকে গ্রেফতার করে। যা কোন ভাবেই মেনে নেয়া যায় না।
সভাপতির বক্তব্যে মঞ্জুরুল ইসলাম ভূঁইয়া বলেন, বর্তমান স্বৈরাচার আওয়ামীলীগ সরকার জনগণের জান মালের নিরাপত্তা দিতে ব্যর্থ হয়ে বিরোধী দল ও মতের ব্যক্তিদের নির্মূলের পথ বেছে নিয়েছে। এই করোনার মধ্যেও বাংলাদেশের মানুষের নানাবিধ সংকটকালীন সময়ে জামায়াত যখন দেশের মানুষকে অবহ্যত ভাবে সেবা ও সহযোগিতা করে যাচ্ছে, ঠিক এমন সময়ে ফ্যাসিবাদী জনবিচ্ছিন্ন আওয়ামী সরকার বাংলাদেশ জামায়াতে ইসলামীর সেক্রেটারি জেনারেল, সাবেক এমপি অধ্যাপক মিয়া গোলাম পরওয়ার, সহকারী সেক্রেটারি জেনারেল মাওলানা রফিকুল ইসলাম খান ও সাবেক এমপি হামিদুর রহমান আজাদসহ ১০ জনকে কোন অভিযোগ ছাড়াই সম্পূর্ণ অন্যায়ভাবে গ্রেফতার করেছে। আমরা এ ন্যাক্কারজনক ঘটনার তীব্র নিন্দা জ্ঞাপন ও প্রতিবাদ জানাচ্ছি। সেই সাথে সরকারকে অবিলম্বে জাতীয় নেতৃবৃন্দকে মুক্তি দেওয়ার আহবান করছি। অন্যথায় জনগণকে সাথে নিয়ে তীব্র আন্দোলনের মাধ্যমে তাদের মুক্ত করা হবে।
ড. মাসুদ বলেন, জামায়াতে ইসলামীর নেতা কর্মীকে গ্রেফতার করে ফাঁসি দিয়ে, হয়রানী করে, মামলা দিয়ে অতীতেও এ আন্দোলনকে থামানো যায়নি, ভবিষ্যতেও যাবেনা ইনশাআল্লাহ। তিনি সরকারকে হুশিয়ার করে দিয়ে বলেন, অতীত থেকে শিক্ষা গ্রহণ করুন। দেশের মানুষ যখন করোনায় বিপর্যস্ত তখন সরকার নেতৃবৃন্দকে অন্যায়ভাবে গ্রেফতার করে মানবতাবিরোধী অপরাধ করেছে। তিনি সরকারকে সংবিধান প্রদত্ত জামায়াতের রাজনৈতিক অধিকার ফিরিয়ে দেওয়ার এবং কেন্দ্রীয় নেতৃবৃন্দকে মুক্তি দেওয়ার আহবান জানান। অন্যথায় রাজপথের তীব্র গণ-আন্দোলন গড়ে তোলার মাধ্যমে নিজেদের অধিকার প্রতিষ্ঠা ও জামায়াতের কেন্দ্রীয় নেতৃবৃন্দকে মুক্তি দিতে বাধ্য করা হবে।
একাত্তরের মুক্তিযুদ্ধকালীন মানবতাবিরোধী অপরাধে নয়, ইসলামিক আদর্শের রাজনীতি করায় সরকার তার বিরুদ্ধে ফাঁসির রায় দিয়েছে বলে মন্তব্য করেছেন জামায়াতে ইসলামীর সহকারী সেক্রেটারি জেনারেল মুহাম্মদ কামারুজ্জমানান।
পরিবারের সদস্যদের উদ্দেশে তিনি বলেছেন, ‘তোমরা আল্লাহর আদর্শের পথে অটল থাকবে। এটিকে টিকিয়ে রাখতে সর্বদা কাজ করবে। ইনশাআল্লাহ, আমার অনুসৃত এই আদর্শ একদিন এদেশের মাটিতে বিজয়ী হবেই, হবে।’
বুধবার সকালে ঢাকা কেন্দ্রীয় কারাগারে মৃত্যুদণ্ডপ্রাপ্ত জামায়াত নেতা মুহাম্মদ কামারুজ্জামানের সঙ্গে পরিবারের ৯ জন সদস্য সাক্ষাতের সুযোগ পান। সাক্ষাৎ শেষে কারা ফটকের সামনে বাবার এসব কথা সাংবাদিকদের জানান বড় ছেলে হাসান ইকবাল ওয়ামী।
